EDIT ONE THING. KEEP EVERYTHING ELSE.

Ideogram 4.5 Edit

Change what’s wrong. Keep what’s right.

Upload an image and describe one change in plain words: recolor a product, rewrite a headline, remove a stray object. Ideogram 4.5 Edit applies that change and restores the areas you didn’t mention, so composition, lighting and layout stay put. Then keep editing from the result.

01

Say exactly what to change

Name the object, color or words, and say what must stay. Ideogram 4.5 Edit runs in high precision mode, which restores the areas you didn’t ask to change.

02

Build on the last result

Any finished image can become the next source in one click. Stack small edits one after another instead of regenerating the whole picture.

03

Go back without paying again

Compare any version with your original, step back to an earlier one, and branch in a new direction. Revisiting versions is free; only new edits use credits.

WHY SMALL EDITS ADD UP

Edit it 14 times.

DEMO BY THE MODEL MAKER

Many image editors redraw a little more of the picture every time you ask for a change. One round looks fine; ten rounds later, colors have shifted and textures have gone soft. In Ideogram’s own demo, the same 14-step edit sequence runs through Ideogram 4.5 and three other models. Watch the small details: the other outputs drift further from the original each round, while Ideogram 4.5 keeps more of the starting image.

INSTRUCTIONS THAT WORK

Name the change. Then name what stays.

Ideogram 4.5 Edit follows written instructions, so a specific sentence beats a vague one. Ask for one change at a time, point to the exact object or words, and list what must not move. Copy one of these and adapt it to your image.

COLOR & MATERIAL

“Change only the product color to sage green. Keep its shape, label, shadows and background unchanged.”

TEXT & LETTERING

“Replace the headline with "SLOW EVENING". Keep the lettering style, layout and every other element unchanged.”

REMOVE A DISTRACTION

“Remove the small object on the left. Keep the subject, camera angle and lighting unchanged.”

FAQ

Before you
start editing

How does Ideogram 4.5 Edit keep the rest of my image the same?

IdeoImg runs Ideogram 4.5 Edit in high precision mode. After applying your change, it restores the areas the model judges unchanged. This greatly reduces unwanted changes but cannot promise identical pixels on every image, so check faces, small text and fine details after each edit.

How much does an edit cost?

Each submitted edit uses 2 credits, and the cost is shown in the editor before you submit. Uploading, comparing and switching between versions are free.

Can I keep editing the same image?

Yes. Choose Continue editing on any finished result to make it your next source. While the page stays open, every version remains available to compare or branch from. Finished images are also saved to your account history.

Does going back to an older version cost credits?

No. Selecting or comparing a version is free. Credits are only used when you submit a new instruction.

Can I paint a mask or select an area?

Not yet. Edits are guided by your written instruction alone. Name the target clearly ("the bottle on the left", "the headline text") and list the details that should stay unchanged.

Is IdeoImg the official Ideogram website?

No. IdeoImg is an independent service that gives you access to the Ideogram 4.5 Edit model, with its own accounts and billing. It is not affiliated with Ideogram or OpenAI.
